I’ve played at Texas Hold’em for several years gaining a great experience in it. Now, I finally decide to share with you everything I’ve learnt at my cost about this game trying to explain you how to play it properly how to face up its critical aspects. What I’ve explained you until now is my playing strategy but I’m sure that time and practise will help you to understand when you’ll need to break the rules to avail yourself of a good opportunity.
It’s impossible to play always in the same way because your opponents could soon understand your playing strategy and so realize when you hold a strong or weak hand. Saying that, it could seem I suggest you to act unnaturally. Of course, if a player considers himself a tight, it’s very difficult he could act as an occasional loose. However here my purpose has been to persuade even the most obstinate person to lend an ear on his instinct and to follow rules that sometimes could seems to be unnaturally.
This remark is addressed particularly to anyone wants to see/call the flop by all means, even if he holds weak cards because he hopes to have a chance to change his situation during the play . It’s foolish because it could only bring him disadvantage.
As regards the chip leader, he also should pay attention to my preceding advises. In fact, having a chip advantage, he often play even with a weak hand and usually tends to bluff too much. Finally, I want to warm anyone who thinks to improve their situation with an only “coup de main” that they only run a stupid risk. You need to score a series of winning hands before being able to win.Remember, in this kind of game you need discipline! You should avoid to get carried away by enthusiasm easily but you should avoid to became totally run down after losing a hand as well. In this last case, you should to be even more careful because sometimes players tend to act without discipline and forgetting any rules after losing a couple of hands. As a single winning hand doesn’t mean an absolutely victory, on the other hand a single losing hand doesn’t mean you’ve totally lost. As the saying goes, they are both “only a drop in the ocean”!
So, no matter if you are going to play online or if you are going to leave for a real casino, I wish you good luck!
